As we grow, we’re creating more ways to connect, across countries, teams, and ideas. We’re looking for an Event & Office Manager who keeps everything (and everyone) moving. Someone who loves bringing structure to chaos, who’s happiest when things run smoothly, and who enjoys being the go-to person for everything from last-minute travel plans to exciting team meetups.

Your role as Event & Office Manager

Saga is a remote-first company, with teams spread across Europe and meeting places in Amsterdam and Oslo. You’ll be the heart of our Amsterdam office, making sure it feels welcoming, organised, and full of life. You’ll also help plan and run our international events, making sure every trip, meetup, and moment leaves a great impression. You’ll work closely with the Marketing and People teams and report to Shunyao (Marketing & Growth), with dotted-line collaboration across our leadership team.

Your core responsibilities

  • Support the organisation of international events, conferences, and webinars

  • Coordinate logistics like travel, hotels, shipments, and on-site support

  • Help create engaging experiences with the Marketing team (think booths, banners, and small details that make people smile)

  • Keep our Amsterdam office running smoothly, from groceries and cleaning to small upgrades that make workdays better

  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • Keep track of budgets, planning, and feedback for events and office needs

  • Be the friendly face that keeps things moving, in the office and on the road

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to Saga

You’re proactive, organised, and love helping others succeed. You spot what’s missing before anyone else does, and you make sure people have what they need to do their best work. You’re social, structured, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

  • 1–2 years of experience in event or office coordination

  • Experience organising professional or community events (tech, legal, or startup environments are a plus)

  • Great communication and planning skills

  • Hands-on and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once

  • Fluent in English (Dutch a plus)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/University level)
